ABOUT ME

After many years of competing in Obedience and owning WSDs and GSDs, I showed my first Border Collie in 1986.

Qualifying for Crufts only fuelled my enthusiasm and gradually further family members arrived from the top kennels of the day.  Eventually our own breeding gave us UK winners including Meiken Glamour Girl, Meiken Crackerjack, Meiken Calendar Girl, Meiken Cover Girl and Meiken Vienna - and many International Champions including Meiken Casanova, Meiken Charlie Girl, Meiken Manhattan, Meiken Hollywood, Meiken Temptation and Sp. Champion Meiken Fascination.

Unfortunately, after so many years, the Meiken kennel name is no longer available to me, but I have 'inherited' TARANZA.

I first judged the Border Collies in the UK in 1988 and in Europe in 1992.  I am a founder member of the West of England Border Collie Club and their original Secretary.

After a few years break, I now have a new gang who are busy making friends and gaining admirers.

Living in Somerset I am able to exercise and socialise my dogs in the most beautiful countryside.  Dog walking just doesn't get any better!!
